SoSS Challenge # 17: D is for Distressing

Hi Everyone! Welcome to the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge # 17 - D is for Distressing

Edna seems a bit distressed with this challenge.  Don't be Edna and Scream!  Whether you do a lot of distressing. or just a little you can enter our challenge.

I embossed some Tim Holtz Kraft-Core Nostalgic Cardstock and distressed it with sandpaper over the entire surface and edges.  I added more distressing with direct to paper inking. I cut a slit in the cardstock to insert the The Hand from Crackerbox Palace Stamps.  I did not use the entire stamp, just the hand. I found some playing card images online and printed them in three sizes, two for the front and one for the inside top (printed at 60% opacity).  I distressed both the cards and the hand with Distress Ink.  I used a label die to frame the saying, printed using the free Distress font.

Challenge #17 ends on Friday, October 3rd at 11:55 pm EDT   Don't be distressed, just enter your project at SoSS.

You'll have a chance to win the auspicious title of Queen or Princess of Snark!
You know you want to win it!  If you're our Queen, you can be our Guest Designer!
